Painting the Windmills
Shaded by a canvas sunhat, a traveling plein-air painter stands at his easel upon a cliffside terrace in Oia, mixing oils on his palette to capture the sunlit windmills of Santorini. Thick brushstrokes translate the dazzling white cubic houses, weathered wooden sails, and caldera cliffs into an enduring handmade canvas.
